Finishes
To match almost any desk, The Protector comes in these four types of finishes:
- Wood Veneer,
- Melamine,
- Laminate, and
- Carpet.
Custom color matching is an option. Accordingly, we can stain or paint the wooden base to match most if not all existing colors or finishes.
Configurations
Plexiglass Desk Shield | The Protector comes in four configurations:
- First, a single piece of plexiglass held between two stainless steel polls mounted on a wooden base in an “I” configuration.
- Second, three pieces of plexiglass held between four stainless steel polls mounted on a wooden base in an “U” configuration.
- Third, five pieces of plexiglass held between six stainless steel polls mounted on a wooden base in a “H” configuration.
- Finally, four pieces of plexiglass held between five stainless steel polls mounted on a wooden base in a “X” configuration.
Furthermore, images in the product gallery show examples of each plexiglass desk shield configuration. To this end, a 36″ x 36″ table is used in the pictures to better show the concept. The Protector will fit on almost any size table, desk, workstation, podium, or lectern.
If you don’t see the size you need in the above selections, please contact us. We can create a Desk Shield in almost any configuration as long as the base’s width doesn’t exceed 95″ and it’s depth doesn’t exceed 47″.
Installation
The plexiglass desk shield rests on your desktop. Therefore, felt pads on the bottom of the wooden base protect your desktop. As a result of the unit’s weight, it rests securely on your desktop. Additionally, minor assembly is required. Upon request, a fully installed version can be provided. Consequently, additional shipping charges will apply.
