We designed the Distance Learning Workstation | The Mentor for an engineering school in Texas. Alternatively, it works great in corporate training facilities or anywhere that utilizes remote instruction. The unit combines a spacious desk and a 16-space equipment cabinet. Also, if configured correctly, it is compliant with The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The Mentor comes standard in beautifully finished wood veneer. However, Melamine and High-Pressure Laminate finishes are available. Sound-Craft offers many standard finishes. Additionally, we specialize in custom stain. So, if you have an existing room that you are trying to match, let us know. The chances are that we can match it.

- A Cooling fan with a thermostat
- A 16 space rack that can be on either side of the unit
- A keyboard drawer
- A pocket pivot door with an acrylic insert
- A removable access panel, and
- A removable work surface are standard features
Furthermore, multiple vents and cable port outlets in the equipment cabinet are also standard.
Adjustable floor glides are standard on the Distance Learning Workstation | The Mentor. But 3″ heavy duty casters are an option to allow some mobility. Plus, locking 3″ casters are also available. To neatly store audio visual equipment, rear rack rails are an option. Moreover, the work surface on The Mentor is customizable with custom cutouts and cable passageways. Distance Learning Workstation | The Mentor is 62.125″ wide, 27″ deep, and 34.625″ tall. Detailed dimensions are in this drawing, The Mentor Drawing 2D. On units with 3″ casters, the width grows to 67.125″. This additional width is to all the casters to fully rotate while remaining hidden.
